Tips and help for Senior Caregivers

 

Hello, I hope all is well. Tips for senior caregivers are very useful and can help caregivers get through their day. Also, having help is useful and it assists caregivers get through their day. Caring for your Senior Loved One (SLO) can take a toll on your mind, body, and soul. However, there is help and most certainly tips. Tips are free, so use tips to the fullest. Now let us talk about help. If you are not able to find help from your family, then you have to step outside and seek help elsewhere. I understand, not everyone has the extra money to pay for help; however, help is still available you just have to locate it.

Please watch this video for some helpful tips and guidance.

Additionally, don’t forget about the following places for help:

  • Your Church
  • Your Friends
  • Your SLO’s friends

Here’s the ultimate tip: caregiver’s please remember it is all right to seek help. You don’t have to do it alone. I am grateful and thankful that I had my uncle and a few others that were able to help. If I could go back, I would indeed ask for additionally help.

As I know and say, “Just like caring for a baby, it takes a village to care for a Senior Loved One.” Please don’t do it alone. Don’t let the pressure of caring for your SLO drag you into a deep dark hole.
