Hello my readers,
I hope all is well.
Today, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the wonderful, passionate, and loving senior caregivers.
I know firsthand what you endure or have endured every day caring for your Senior Loved One (SLO) or for a senior. I cared for my mother and granny until they went to heaven. And now, I’m caring for other seniors. I cannot speak for others, so I will speak for myself. It truly takes a special person to care for a senior. There are many demands that you take on, to ensure that your SLO or senior receives the care that they need. Just to name a few, you have to make sure they eat, may have to bath and or dress them, take them to their doctor’s appointment, shop for them, keep their home intact, help them financially and emotionally.
While you are caring for your SLO or senior, you may have a family that you care for along with finding time to care for yourself. With so much care, this can indeed take a toll on your mind, body, & soul. However, no matter what, you continue to care and do what you have to do to ensure that your SLO or senior is well.
